How far is Moinabad from Hyderabad?

Actual time on the road depends far more on traffic than on distance. Leaving the city on a Friday evening or a long-weekend Saturday morning can double the usual time, so plan to arrive close to your check-in time rather than leaving at it.

Route 1: Outer Ring Road (from Gachibowli, Kokapet, Kondapur and the airport)

From the IT corridor or the airport, the Outer Ring Road (ORR) is usually the quickest way out. Take the ORR towards the south-west and leave it at the exit for the Chevella road near Appa Junction, then continue west on the Chevella road into Moinabad.

Route 2: Mehdipatnam, Langar Houz and Himayat Sagar (from the old city and central Hyderabad)

From Mehdipatnam, Tolichowki, Masab Tank or the old city, many drivers skip the ORR and head out through Langar Houz towards Himayat Sagar, then on through Aziz Nagar to Moinabad. It's a direct road with no toll.

This road gets busy near Langar Houz in the evenings; outside peak hours it is often as quick as the ORR from these areas.

From Secunderabad, Begumpet and Kompally

From the north of the city, either take the PV Narasimha Rao Expressway towards Mehdipatnam and continue via Himayat Sagar, or join the ORR and loop round to the Chevella road exit. Check live traffic before you leave — the better option changes through the day.
