What Your Farmhouse Booking Confirmation Includes

Once your payment goes through, or the team confirms a WhatsApp request, you receive a confirmation that names the farmhouse, the date and slot, the number of guests you booked for, what you have paid and what remains, and the practical details for the day: location pin, check-in and check-out times, the house rules and the deposit arrangement. The exact layout varies, and some farmhouses add their own notes, but those are the pieces that matter.

Most guests glance at it, see the right date, and forget it until Saturday. Read it properly instead. Almost every awkward moment at a farmhouse gate in Moinabad traces back to a line in the confirmation that nobody checked.

The lines that identify your booking

Farmhouse name and village

Confirm it is the farmhouse you meant. If you shortlisted three houses in villages such as Yethbarpally, Tolkatta and Surangal, it is easy to pay for the wrong tab. The village also tells your drivers which exit to take off the Chevella road.

Date and slot

A day-outing slot and an overnight slot are different products at different prices. The confirmation should state which one you bought and the clock times that go with it. If it says "day" and you were planning to sleep over, this is the moment to fix it, not at 9 pm when the caretaker asks you to leave. Guest count

The number you booked for is the number the rate covers. Arriving with more people is fine at most farmhouses up to the cap, but the extra-guest charge per person applies and is usually settled at check-in. Arriving with more than the cap is not fine anywhere.

The money lines

This is where most confusion lives, so go slowly.

Not every farmhouse collects a deposit, and those that do handle it differently: some take it online with the booking, others in cash at check-in. The confirmation should say which. If it is silent on the deposit and you want certainty, ask on WhatsApp before you leave the city rather than discovering it at the gate without cash.

The practical lines

• Caretaker or contact number. Save it under the farmhouse name so you are not scrolling through chats at a dark village junction.
• Check-in and check-out times. Usually early afternoon in and late morning out, but the exact hours are set per farmhouse. Early arrival or late departure is a separate request, not an assumption.
• ID requirement. Government photo ID for every adult is standard across the mandal. The confirmation may say whether a photo on WhatsApp in advance is acceptable or whether originals are checked at the gate.
• House rules. Guest cap, music cut-off time, rules on outside food, alcohol, pets, decorations and glass near the pool. These differ from one farmhouse to the next, and the version in your confirmation is the one that applies to you.
• Cancellation terms. What you get back if you cancel, and by when. The site's cancellation policy sets the frame, and individual farmhouses may add conditions.

What a confirmation usually does not promise

Reading what is absent is as useful as reading what is there. Unless it is written down, do not assume:

• that a cook, meals or groceries are included, even if the farmhouse has a kitchen;
• that the pool is heated, lit at night, or supervised;
• that a specific number of bedrooms will be air-conditioned;
• that decoration, a DJ or a sound system is permitted, or included;
• that you can stay past the check-out time while you pack.

If any of those matter to your plan, ask before the day and get the answer in the same chat thread as the confirmation. A verbal "should be fine" from someone who is not the owner is not worth much at 11 pm.

If something on it is wrong

Mistakes happen on both sides: a wrong date, a guest count typed as 12 instead of 21, an add-on you did not want. Corrections are easy early in the week and hard on a Friday evening, when the farmhouse may already be turned down for other groups on the strength of your booking. Keep the corrected confirmation and delete the old one so nobody in your group forwards the wrong version.

Share the right things with the right people

You do not need to forward the whole document to thirty people. Send the location pin, the slot times, the ID reminder and the key rules to everyone.
